Last semester, I took the business statics in my major. This subject is required to graduation as business manegement student.
First chapter, I learned computer statics tool. This tools are many programs, for example, 'Micro Office Excel' excel is very useful to do statics, but hard to learn to junior students. So, I think that professor should be teach slowly. However, he teaches us very fast, as if professor said alone.
In conclusion, Every classmate with me can't understand and I have nothing about this subject.
Most professor unlikely to consider student's level. actually i had a same experience like you. i also hate that, but we have no choice.

It was also my one of the mandatory course.
Professor didn’t consider his student.
Eventually, we could study ourselves. I thought he was very irresponsible teacher.
I agree with your experience. my meterials professor's teaching style was too hard. So I couldn't understand all. Furthermore, Exam was difficult. I received C+. I was discouraged. T.T
